Hi Ladies – the topic of this email is around just one word – APPRECIATION!
Maybe you’re thinking to yourself, “Yeah, right Miriam – that’s easy for you to say. But you don’t understand how messed up my life is now, thanks to living with the spouse that I’ve got!”
OK. I get that – I’ve been there and done that before. But for those of you who know me or I’ve had the honor to work with, you know that one of the best tools to help restore our lives to sanity is SELF-CARE!
And at the top of the list of Self-Care Tools is to learn the art and value of Appreciation. Through appreciation, we can take our focus away from the turmoil and start to discover those parts of our life that are meaningful and joyful.
So here are the Three Steps to bring the Power of Appreciation into your life.
It all begins with writing in your Journal everyday for just 15 minutes as follows:
1. For just 5 minutes – Write down your appreciations and gratitudes for what’s happening in your life right now. Perhaps with your connections with family and friends, your career, your health, your hobbies and more.
Just remember that YOU DESERVE these 15 minutes everyday. Let them be part of your Sanctuary of Peace and Self-Love and Self-Care. And soon, you will find that you’ll be able to show APPRECIATION OUTWARDLY AND INWARDLY!
