What makes this Passover different than all other Passovers?
We are wrapping up another Passover! So what?
Good question. That’s why my personal take away is the following brief message:
As we conclude our Passover by remembering that our crossing the Yom Suf (the Red Sea) required so much Bravery, Emunah, Bitachon and Determination for our Redemption.
And how the event took us to “The Other Side.”
Which has been the Jewish Peoples’ defining Step – beginning with Abraham (and all Jews since) being an “Ivri” which means “the other side.”
And that I must ask at this point in Passover,
“Have I taken any steps to get to the Other Side?”
“Can I truly say that I’m different today than I was a year ago, a month ago or a week ago before Passover?
Am I any closer to G-d now – or just closer to my same old self? Which SIDE AM I ON?
That is my take away!
